Trevor Marples
Executive Producer & Director
As a life long entrepreneur and video production enthusiast, Trevor began attending business and personal development events at the age of 17. In the following years Trevor frequented educational events around Vancouver, and was soon hired to film many of these same events.
Trevor discovered that his experience in event videography and filming events in Vancouver, gave him a specialized skill set, that wasn’t available though most video production companies.
This evolved into We Film Events taking on event video production projects for other media companies, and allowed Trevor to focus full time in filming events, workshops, and seminars across BC.
Alisandar Toms
Technical Director
Al transitioned to the We Film Events team from the short film and cinema production world in 2014. He lends his technical expertise to all areas of production, with a pulse on the rapidly changing innovations in the video production industry, allowing us to leverage technologies that enhance our services and even become more cost effective for our clients.
Alper Yilmaz
Lead Event Camera Operator
Alper is an enthusiastic videographer with over 20 years of pre-production, on set and video editing experience. Before moving to BC from Turkey in 2016, he ran one of the counties largest AV companies and managed the video production for events such as the 2015 G20 Summit in Antalya. Alper joined the We Film Events team in 2018 bringing with him his extensive knowledge and experience in the event video production world.
David Yeung
Event Promotional Videographer
David Yeung is a talented Videographer who excels in the craft of creative cinematic videography.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver BC, Dave specifically specializes in filming and editing event promotional videos for the We Film Events team, leveraging his 10 years of experience in Vancouver’s thriving film industry, including working on notable productions such as Cabin in the Woods, Smallville, and X Men 3.
