Your event is a combination of hundreds of hours of collective effort towards a single meticulously planned vision, so a cookie cutter video production team won’t cut it.

We Film Events specializes in a customized approach to event video productions, to ensure its a match to your projects goals, scale, and allotted investment. 

Our productions start as simple as two cameras with one operator, and up to six cameras and as many videographers, with a switcher operator, live stream technician, production director, and more.  

Real Time Editing

Filming your event is the easy part, when post-production can take nearly twice as long as you entire event. This can add considerable cost to the production budget. Our production approach includes live switching, which allows us to complete 80% of the editing during the event.

In addition to the financial savings, your videos are also quickly completed and ready for online monetization.

Live Video Projection

IMAG (image magnification) ensures your audience can clearly see all the action. We work directly with your AV team to project camera outputs in real time, and guarantee attendees anywhere in the room receive a front row experience.

Our Production Process

Step 1: Programming

Every event is unique, and each one comes with a variety of goals and logistical considerations, such as how the presenters will interact with the online audience, or when our team can access the venue to begin setup. While these are detailed questions, it’s crucial to review these early on as they may impact the entire production process and quote.

We use the information you provide to make a production program, which is a document that describes the project’s goals, scope, and logistics.

Step 2: Production Design

Here we prepare a technical plan on how to deliver a seamless experience for you and your audience. Our producer considers all the options for crew and equipment, to create a variety of approaches to meet different priorities, whether that be budget first, delivering a premium broadcast experience, or somewhere in between.  

Step 3: Logistics

As the logistic details and assets are finalized, our technical director consolidates them into a single cohesive plan. Crew contact and arrival details, equipment packing lists, and detailed location logistics are solidified and sent to all crew members.

On more complex shows with a greater number of moving parts, we employ project management software to add and change details as the event progresses, document the state of any individual element or deliverable, and create checks and accountability to ensure a high-quality polished product.

Step 4: Production

The big day is here and we’re ready to make it happen! Our crew arrives at the predetermined time and location and gets to work setting up equipment on-site and fulfilling the production plan.

From here it’s smooth sailing, though much like at sea, one should be prepared for the unexpected during a live event. With built-in redundancies available, we are prepared to overcome last-minute changes and obstacles. Our producer is on call, and able to make any emergency arrangements, or even fill in as crew if needed.

Step 5: Post-Production

We begin by transferring all the video footage, audio files, and program recordings. These files are all stored on our private media storage server with built-in offsite mirroring, ensuring 8 levels of redundant backup.

On completion, the videos are exported then sent to you for review to provide any feedback, or to proceed with downloading, posting and sharing with your audience.
